Sorry, but as a general rule, I forget to enter anything here.  Feel free to enjoy what's here.

Scopes used are:
    Dave's Scope:   8" f/6.25 Newtonian Reflector on Dobsonian Mount.
    Samantha's Scope:  4.25" f/3.88 Newtonian Reflector, Dobsonian Mount on Tripod.

Scoring: 1 - Very Bad Condition up to 10 - Excellent Condition

10/8/06: Two sessions

Conditions:  Clouds:  9 - Seeing: 8 - Transparency: 8 - Temp: 50 F - Humidity: Low

Objects observed:

Moon
M17 - Swan Nebula*
M8 - Lagoon Nebula*
Random clusters, both open and globular

* Note:  Objects were extremely washed out due to the almost full moon.

5:00 pm -5:20 pm (with Ben Dubois)

Conditions:  Clouds:  9 - Seeing: 8 - Transparency: 8 - Temp: 58 F - Humidity: Low

Solar viewing - No sunspots found

10/7/06:

9:30 pm -11:15 pm (with Dustin Tabor)

Conditions:  Clouds:  10 - Seeing: 9 - Transparency: 9 - Temp: 34 F - Humidity: Low

Excellent Viewing!

Observed full moon.  Was able to see features that haven't ever seen before.  Was pretty amazing.

09/21/06:  Two Sessions

9:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

Conditions:  Clouds:  9  -  Seeing:  7  -  Transparency:  6  -  Temp:  40-45 F  -  Humidity:  Med

Cassiopeia/Perseus Double Cluster
Veil Nebula
M31 - Andromeda Galaxy
M32 - Andromeda Satellite Galaxy
M33 - Triangulum Galaxy
M110 - Andromeda Satellite Galaxy
M36 & M38 - Open Clusters - in Auriga

5:00 pm - 5:20 pm. 

Conditions:  Clouds:  10  -  Seeing:  9  -  Transparency:  8  -  Temp:  65 F  -  Humidity: Med

Projected Solar observing.  Found one small sunspot in the lower right quadrant.
