An ancient Ring thought lost for millenniums has been found, and through a strange twist in fate has been given to
a small Hobbit named Frodo. When Gandalf discovers the Ring is in fact the One Ring of the Dark Lord Sauron, Frodo
must make an epic quest to the Cracks of Doom in order to destroy it! However he does not go alone. He is joined by
Gandalf, Legolas the elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Aragorn, Boromir and his three Hobbit friends Merry, Pippin and Samwise.
Through mountains, snow, darkness, forests, rivers and plains, facing evil and danger at every corner the Fellowship
of the Ring must go. Their quest to destroy the One Ring is the only hope for the end of the Dark Lords reign!
In this movie, we learn that Pippin and Merry will always play pranks, Frodo is going to whine the whole way to Mordor, and Sam will be Frodo's
personal assistant. We also learn that Gandalf will be the voice of wisdom and is infallible, Legolas will be insufferable, Gimli will be proud to a
fault, and Boromir will have no willpower, but will turn out to be noble.
One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep,
and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a
poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly.
It's a pity Bilbo didn't kill him when he had the chance. Gandalf
Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to
them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me
that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.
