Hike

Ian and I went on an Adventure last November. Despite how our previous adventures turned out (taking the wrong trail and getting lost in an abandoned logging environment near Jay Peak. I should also mention the time where it started raining and turned to Hail and we about froze to death.), we decided it was wise to hike up to the Fire Tower starting at Belvadeere Pond during the beginning week of November.

Everything was going well. Then we parked the car and started walking. It was a steep climb and the temperature was perfect. After an hour it started to poor:( By the time I was soaked head to toe. We made camp near the top and cooked some progresso soup w/ Ian's lantern. Not too bad. I woke up in the middle of the night when Ian elbowed me in the head. Apparently we had not pitched the tent on level ground.

The next day was great. A little damp and cold during the morning hours, but we made it too the top. It was worth the trip. We took some photos, and then realized we still had a long way back. Fortunately, heading going down was much easier
