This past Saturday some friends and I covered Pedro The Lion at 242 Main's annual Halloween show. Videos from the entire set are on the media
Hopefully you all think we did David Bazan and company justice.
January tour news and December recording info to come soon.
Big News! 8.24.12
I have booked studio time in December for a special live session project that will allow this song
, as well as one other new song, and at least one song from longing to see the light of day in an absolutely traditional full band form.
There is no telling how a live recording will come out, but you'll be able to hear these songs long before the next record, I promise.
It's exciting to be able to sit back and craft songs from the ground up again. It's a terrible thing to realize that you have started losing sight of what is important, but it's quite a rush to pull things back together.
I have the best friends I could ask for and I can't thank you all enough for helping make this project what it is.
I'll be able to share more information in the coming months about what these songs are going to be used for, but if everything works out, I think I am not the only one that will be excited.
On another note, I am starting to think about a full band east coast tour in January. I realize this is a ways away, but considering my school schedule, it's very unlikely that anyone will see dates from me before then.
If you would like me to come to your town, feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Wild Method Round 2 8.15.12
Great sky captains,
just posted the second song from our session in Chicago. Here is what they had to say about it,
"Our second session with Vermont's Tyler Daniel Bean. Much like the first song, we continued to film at Brands Park in Chicago. 'Heather Lane' is a song from Tyler's album Longing. It's a song that seems to reminisce about the fond memories shared with someone close. Through time, we may lose touch, move on, or become distant from those who were once special to us. Re-connecting with those special people can be as simple as taking initiative and reaching out. Tyler perfectly describes this with the lyrics: "You're always on my mind. I'm just a phone call away all the time." - Steve Layman

Great sky captains,
has posted a song from a recording session we had together in Chicago. Here is what they had to say about it,
"Check out my buddy Tyler Daniel Bean. He played the Algernon/Joyce Manor show in Burlington and absolutely killed it with his full band jawns. He told me it'll be a while until he can start recording his new stuff (something I'm more than familiar with) so all we have are this video and a couple of others." - Steve Layman
