Currently, when calibrating a snowmobile clutch one needs to make compromises.  A setup that is perfect for drag racing will not perform well on the trail.  Likewise a good trail setup will not work well for drag racing.  We plan on changing this.

By making an externally adjustable helix it will be possible to drive the snowmobile down the trail with a perfect setup and then come up to a lake make a quick adjustment in less than thirty seconds and have the best possible drag setup.

Our goals include:
1)  External adjustment
2)  Increased performance
3)  Simple design
