The VTC Astronomy Club brought ten people together to experience two shows at the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord NH. There were club members, VTC staff, and our friends in attendance. We watched Through the Eyes of Hubble, and SkyBound. The shows were incredible. Everyone had a good time. The shows were educational and very fun. The shows were geared towards the beginning stargazer. Even a veteran professional astronomer would appreciate the presentations. No doubt. The exhibits and gift shop were cool. A couple of club members tried the flight simulator and managed to crash a space shuttle while trying to land it. Special thanks to Lauri Sybel for helping us organize the trip and for driving the VTC van. Also, special thanks to ASVTC for helping us budget the trip at the last minute. Congratulations to Club Advisor Peter Chapin who was married this day. I hope we can have just one day next year as spectacular as this one.
