VTC Campus

Began around 6:15

We took out the LX10 tonight. We looked at Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Orion Nebula. The Orion Nebula looked amazing throught the LX10. It was beautiful! The resolution was much better than a 2" refractor! Of course. We did all our viewing at 80X tonight. This scope has amazing potential! It hadn't even cooled down yet! Mercury was visible on the horizon between 6:00 and 6:30 or so. The conjunction of Jupiter and Venus happens tomorrow around 4:30.
