VTC Astronomy Club |
We are the Vermont Technical College
Astronomy Club. The club was founded during the summer of 1998 by Jason
Lewis, Peter Chapin, and Fred Woodworth. Our goals are to expose club
members to the basics of astronomy. We try to star gaze when the Vermont
weather permits. We explore how to use starcharts, telescopes,
binoculars, and our own human eyes to find and observe stars, other
galaxies, planets, and nebulae.
People of all ages and experience levels are invited to
participate in the club.
