Vermont is a beautiful and fun state to live and visit! The majestic Green Mountains landscape Vermont and are extremely attractive for sking and hiking. Unbeatable hiking trails and fabulous boat tours and cruises are also offered in a number of Vermont lakes and rivers! There are tons of great activities offereed in Vermont including horse back riding, mountain bike trails, skiing, and many more aerobic activites. There are also some very talanted theatre groups that perform all around Vermont! Ascutney is in the small and quaint town of Brownsville. Great get away!

Jay Peak is a large resort located in the northeast kingdom.

Killington has 95 miles of skiing and the longest season in the East (Oct.-June).

Mad River Glenis a small resort that Vermonters love. It has the last single chair lift in New England.

Okemo Mountain Resort is located in the Black River Valley. Just minutes away from the charming village of Ludlow.

Smuggler's Notch is a good family resort. Located in Jeffersonville.

StoweResort is located on Mount Mansfield, the largest mountain in Vermont!

Sugarbush is located in the Warren/Waitshfield area. Their motto: "Peace, love, and a ton of SNOW."

Non-snow Sports

Mountain Biking is an excellent outdoor activity for the whole family. It can be done on almost any mountain in Vermont.

Fishing is a Vermont tradition, which can be done on Lake Champlain or any of the many bodies of water in the state.

Golfing is a great and relaxing way to enjoy the wonderful summers in Vermont.


Museums,Tours and Art

The Bennington Museum is a great museum to visit. It's relativly new and is very interesting.

The Monshire Museum is a hands-on museum that is great fun to go to with the whole family. A great educational experience.

The Shelburn Museum is a great museum to go to get a real feel for what Vermont life used to be like.

The Ben & Jerry's Factory Tour is a fun way to see how ice cream is made and how Ben and Jerry started out.

Lake Champlain has many ferry tours and schedules. You can see another side of Vermont from the ferries, or from Burlington take a day trip to New York on one of the ferries.

This train ride through the wilderness is very senic and terrific during foliage season. The train is also a great way to commute between towns.

The Flynn Theatre hosts a variety of shows throughout the year. Shows range from the new Warren Miller movie, to Lyric Theartre poductions.
