Mary J. O'Neil was a Vermont writer. She wrote a book called "Growing Up in Vermont", published in 1967.The book is about all the things that makes life in Vermont so interesting. She wrote about the history of the state, the emblems of Vermont, and other things that make our state special. Ms.O'Neil loved the state that was her home. She died in 1997 at the age of 82 years,all of which were spent in Vt.
