Configurations

Using configurations is an easy way to create a family of parts.

Below is an example of a pipe clamp that will lend itself ideally to a configuration of parts consisting of the Top Half, Lower Half and Strap

The only difference is with the “Bolt Holes” and thickness.

The Mount will be a separate model.

Things you need to know:

  1. How to add configurations
  2. How to suppress features
  3. How to indicate “this feature this configuration” when making features.
  4. Insert in Assembly using appropriate configuration
  5. Place appropriate configuration in Drawing
